Start of Advent Fast

Tuesday November 25, we begin the annual Advent Fast. This fast is a 43
day fast which goes from 11/25 until the Feast of the Nativity on
January 7. Seafood is allowed during this fast, except on Wednesdays
and Fridays.

Description: The Director is the face of Coptic Orphans in Egypt and is responsible for the technical aspects of all programs, including design, training, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The Director is responsible for donor agency relations, reporting, networking, partnerships, research, proposal writing, staff training, and staff supervision. The Director participates in organizational strategic planning. This position entails extensive travel on the field within Egypt and occasional travel abroad.

Qualifications: - Must have worked with or is familiar with the Coptic Community; members of the Diaspora are encouraged to apply. - At least 7-10 years experience in the field of international development or management - Must be fluent in both English and Arabic, spoken, reading, and writing - Advanced degree preferred
