Family

A family that prays together, stays together! St. Mark’s makes an effort to focus on the individuals in your family; but, we know that the family unit is just as important. St. Mark's has several ministries focused on raising a family, being a parent or being a retired parent.

Bring your family to join our Church family.

By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established (Proverbs 24:3).

Our Mission

The family is the basic unit of the society as well as the church, the body of which Christ is the head. The mother church is extending this service in order to help each family get closer to the Lord and to each other, having as a goal to see its members unified in God. This will be reflected in the unity and strength of Christ’s body, the Church.

Some Statistics:

If a pattern of violent behavior towards a partner has been established, it is difficult to change say the researchers. Children who witness domestic violence are at an increased risk of having abusive relationships as adults, researchers have found. The research is published in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology. US researchers from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and the New York State Psychiatric Institute followed 540 children for 20 years from 1975.

Dear Parent:

Our children are our Nation's most valuable asset. They represent the bright future of our country and hold our hopes for a better Nation. Our children are also the most vulnerable members of society. Protecting our children against the fear of crime and from becoming victims of crime must be a national priority.

Unfortunately the same advances in computer and telecommunication technology that allow our children to reach out to new sources of knowledge and cultural experiences are also leaving them vulnerable to exploitation and harm by computer-sex offenders
